You can share your connection with a laptop or tablet using your phone's personal hotspot. Every travel eSIM has a fair usage policy, and ours keeps the connection usable rather than dropping you to a crawl.
Yes, you can share your connection. Mobile hotspot can be switched on for our plans, so a laptop or tablet can use your travel data.

What speed to expect
Speeds are set per plan and are published on each product page. Across our range you will see:
- Up to 200 Mbps download, 50 Mbps uploadon the faster plans
- Up to 42 Mbps downloadon some plans built for everyday browsing
Actual speed depends on the network where you are, how busy it is, and your phone. Published figures are maximums, not guarantees.
Fair usage
Every travel eSIM has a fair usage policy. Once you use the high-speed allowance in your plan, the connection continues at a reduced speed for the rest of the plan instead of cutting you off. Our aim is a connection that stays usable rather than one that becomes unusable, and the reduced speed for your plan is listed on its product page.
Network selection is automatic
In most destinations the eSIM picks the network for you. In a few places the supplier asks you to choose one by hand, and in one case you may need to confirm a prompt from the network first. If your plan needs that, it is written on your plan's product page, and we will tell you with your order.
Questions we get asked
Can I use my eSIM as a hotspot for my laptop?
Yes. Mobile hotspot can be switched on, and WiFi tethering is supported.
Is the data truly unlimited?
Plans have a high-speed allowance. After it is used the connection continues at a reduced speed for the rest of the plan rather than stopping. The reduced speed is listed on your plan page.
Why is my speed lower than advertised?
Published speeds are maximums. Real speed depends on the network, how congested it is at the time, and your device.
