Never miss an important call
A 365-day voicemail service for the Hong Kong number you already hold with us. When a call is not answered, or your phone is off or out of range, the caller can leave a message and it is kept for you.
What you get
- 365 days of voicemail service.
- Stores up to 10 messages.
- Each message can be up to 2 minutes long.
- Messages are kept for 72 hours.
- Listen from your mobile or from a landline.
- Missed calls are diverted to the mailbox automatically once the diversion is set.
What you need before you start
This service is added to a Hong Kong number you already hold with us - it is not a new number and it does not include data. You will be asked for the number and its eSIM details when you order.
Setting it up
- Dial *988 from the number the mailbox is on, and follow the spoken instructions.
- Choose your language.
- Set a password of 1 to 10 digits. You need it to listen from a landline.
- Record your personal greeting.
- Choose the language for message notifications (the default is English).
Diverting calls to the mailbox
- To send unanswered calls to the mailbox: dial **21* followed by your number and #.
- To cancel the diversion: dial ##21#.
- You can set the same diversion in your phone's own call settings if you prefer.
Listening to messages
- From your mobile: dial *988.
- From a landline: dial 9886 6622 and enter the password you set.
Charges and terms
- The network operator states that each call diverted to the mailbox is charged at the standard local call rate.
- Listening to your messages is also charged at the applicable call rate.
- The service runs for 365 days; it ends automatically when that period is over.
- The exact behaviour of the service can vary with the network and your phone settings.

Does the mailbox include data or calls?
No. It is a voice service for an existing number; call charges still apply as described above.

The service ends automatically. You would need to renew it to keep using the mailbox.
