9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children. For a number port-in, a customer under 16 must also have an adult guardian complete the real-name registration. We do not knowingly collect personal information about children; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Identity documents and number port-in (MNP)
When you buy a number port-in (MNP) service, Hong Kong law requires us to complete a real-name registration for the SIM card before your number can be ported. For that we collect your name, your Hong Kong Identity Card number (or passport details if you have no HKID), an image of that identity document, your mobile number and your current carrier, the ICCID of your SIM card and a photograph of that SIM card, your contact email address and your typed signature, together with the time of your submission and a fingerprint (hash) of the signed application form.
Everything you type on our intake page, and both photographs, are encrypted on your own device with our public key before they are sent, so the parties that host and move that data hold only unreadable ciphertext. Your application form is prepared from that ciphertext using a decryption key held in encrypted storage on equipment we control in Hong Kong, never stored with your application data, and used only to prepare and submit your application. The completed application is submitted to the Carrier's designated confidential mailbox for real-name registration. We never ask you to send identity documents through a messaging app such as WhatsApp.
We use it only to apply to LuckySIM (the Carrier) to port your number and provide the related mobile service, to complete the real-name registration required by Hong Kong law, to verify your identity, and to process and confirm your application. It is never used for direct marketing. Your data, including the identity document image, may be transferred to LuckySIM and its operator / network, and to the service providers we engage (cloud hosting and transactional email), strictly to process those purposes. The identity document is a statutory and essential requirement: if you cannot provide it, we cannot complete the real-name registration and your port-in application cannot proceed.
The photographs are never written to disk on our own equipment: they are unsealed in memory for only as long as it takes to prepare and send your application. The sealed copies in our application record are deleted once your real-name registration and port-in are confirmed, and in any event within 30 days if the application is not completed. The copy we send ourselves for the hand-over to the Carrier stays in our own mailbox until your port-in is confirmed and is then deleted. We keep the completed application form itself (your details, the plan, your consent record and the signed-form fingerprint) as the record of the port-in we carried out on your behalf, together with accounting records as required by tax law; we do not keep the photographs in that record. Our database provider keeps a point-in-time recovery window of up to seven days, after which a deleted record cannot be restored.
The full notice, with your access and correction rights, is at unclesim.net/pages/privacy-mnp.

Acceptance
These terms and this Privacy Policy apply to every order placed on unclesim.net. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept them. Where your order includes a number port-in (MNP), the identity document and the real-name registration are required by Hong Kong law, and we collect nothing until you tick the collection statement on the intake page we send you. If you do not tick it, we cannot complete the real-name registration and your port-in cannot proceed; in that case write to unclesim@unclesim.net and we will cancel the port-in and refund it in full.
