Three things this form does that a WhatsApp message cannot.

Sealed on your Device

Your photos are encrypted before they leave the device. Our server only ever holds ciphertext, never the original file.

Burned on a set clock

Deleted the moment the port completes, and within 30 days even if it stalls. A count goes out every Monday, including zero.

One signature, no back and forth

You sign inside this form. We build the carrier's form from what you signed - nothing printed, nothing sent back for a second signature.

Nothing goes by WhatsApp. Nothing is printed. Nothing comes back for a second signature.

Your number, kept.

Same eight digits. A different SIM underneath.

Bank codesOne-time passwords from your Hong Kong bank arrive at the number they are registered to.
WhatsApp and appsVerification messages land on the number, so the accounts stay attached to it.
NoticesAnything the government or a utility sends still finds you.
AbroadTurn on data roaming where you are and the messages arrive there.

One fee. One plan.

The fee sits inside every plan, once per number. You pick a plan at the end of the form and the checkout opens for it.

The port-in feeCovers the paperwork and the submission to LuckySIM. It is the figure under the button at the top of this page, in your currency.
The planData plans on 2-year and 3-year terms, plus 1-year prepaid eSIM bundles. Every one includes the port-in.
One number per orderEach number has its own order and its own form.

Four steps.

From the first click to a working eSIM.

Step 1

The form

About five minutes, two photos, and the plan you want. The checkout opens the moment you send.

Step 2

The signature

We check what you sent and email the carrier's own form for you to sign.

Step 3

The switch

You pick the date on your form, at least three working days ahead, and the switch is overnight.

Step 4

The eSIM

The QR code arrives by email. Scan it and the number is on your phone.

Two photos.

Colour, original, sharp. Anything else comes back from the carrier.

Your ID documentHKID or passport. The original document, photographed.
Your SIMThe card, with the ICCID readable. Already on an eSIM: a screenshot of the ICCID from your own phone.
In the form, not a chatThe upload is encrypted in transit and again on arrival. Messaging apps are not built for this.
Not a scanNo PDFs, no photocopies, no photo of a screen, no glare across the number.

Deleted afterwards.

Your ID photos are used for this port-in and nothing else.

On completionThe files are deleted once the real-name registration and the port-in are confirmed.
If it stallsDeleted within 30 days when the application is not completed.

Questions.

Can I keep my number?

Yes. The eight digits stay exactly as they are.

How long does it take?

You pick the cut-over date on your form, at least three working days ahead. The switch is overnight, so the number keeps working during the day.

Do I have to be in Hong Kong?

No. The form and the photos are submitted online, from anywhere.

Will bank SMS still arrive abroad?

Yes, with data roaming on where you are. Bank codes, notices and WhatsApp verifications reach the number.

Does my phone support eSIM?

Dial *#06#. An EID number means yes. If you only see IMEI numbers, it does not.

My number is on a contract.

A number on a contract can still move. Any charge from the old carrier for ending its contract is not part of this fee.

Ready when you are.

One number per order. The form takes about five minutes.

UncleSim is a Hong Kong business run by Roy Tse. There is no shop to visit. LuckySIM is a brand UncleSim resells; the port-in itself is carried out by LuckySIM.
