How long does the Hong Kong MNP porting process take?
You choose the cut-over date on your form, at least three working days ahead, and number portability completes on that date once your signed form and order are received. The actual switch occurs during overnight maintenance hours (1:00 AM – 4:00 AM) so your day-to-day service remains uninterrupted.
How does data speed throttling work after 20GB?
You receive 20GB of high-speed local data up to 100Mbps per month. Once 20GB is reached, connectivity continues with unlimited data capped at speeds up to 3.6Mbps.
What happens to my personal data and identity documents after verification?
In strict accordance with Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance standards, submitted ID photos and sensitive verification files are deleted once your real-name registration and port-in are confirmed, and at the latest within 30 days if the application is not completed.
