Seven days of 2GB-a-day data costs US$12.18 in Thailand and US$17.56 in Korea. Here is what a week actually costs across Asia, and why the shape of a plan matters more than its headline number.
Five destinations, the same seven days, and the rival prices we recorded on 28 September 2026. The comparison below is like for like: every plan is a 7-day plan, and every total is the total for those seven days.

How to read an eSIM comparison without being misled
Duration matters more than price. A 1-day price and a 7-day price are not comparable, and neither are a 3GB total and a per-day allowance. Every figure above is a 7-day, whole-trip price.
A total allowance runs out once. Rival brand A sells a total: 3GB for the whole week. Stream, upload or share a hotspot and it is gone in a day or two.
A daily allowance resets. Ours gives 2GB at full speed every day - 14GB across the week - then unlimited at 5Mbps after that, so the connection never stops working.
Unlimited is unlimited. Rival brand B is the simplest answer and the most expensive of the plans here.
Which Asia eSIM is right for your trip
If you use very little data: the rival 3GB bundle is the cheapest way to have a working connection for a week.
If you use a normal amount: per GB, ours is cheaper in all five destinations, and it does not stop when a total allowance runs out.
If you want zero data management: an unlimited plan is the simplest, and it costs the most.
If you need a Hong Kong number: only UncleSim sells one, including porting an existing Hong Kong number onto an eSIM.
Our verdict: we are not the cheapest possible way to have data in Asia for a week - a small total bundle costs less. We are the cheapest per gigabyte, we give a daily allowance that resets instead of a total that runs out, and we are the only one of these that can keep a Hong Kong number alive.
Asia eSIM comparison: common questions
Are these prices live?
Ours are. The rival figures were captured on 28 September 2026 and change without notice, so check the provider's own page before buying.
Why are the rival brands not named?
We publish their published prices and ours, and we do not name them. That keeps the comparison about the numbers rather than about another company's brand.
Is UncleSim the cheapest?
No, not on every measure. Per gigabyte of high-speed data we are cheaper in all five destinations above. A rival's smallest bundle costs less for a whole trip because it is a 3GB bundle, against our 14GB.
What does 2GB per day actually mean?
You get 2GB at full 4G/5G speed each day. After the 2GB, the connection continues at up to 5Mbps rather than stopping. Over a 7-day trip that is 14GB of full-speed data.
Can I use these eSIMs as a hotspot?
UncleSim plans allow hotspot. Check the other plans' own terms, because it varies.
